Terms of use
Updated 3 October 2026
These are the ground rules for using EviGeno. They are short on purpose.
What EviGeno is
EviGeno is an independent medical intelligence service. It gathers published research, trial listings and other public sources that may apply to one patient's situation, and sets them out in a report. Your analyst reads and checks each result before you see it.
What EviGeno is not
EviGeno does not diagnose, treat, or recommend treatment. Your analyst is an independent biomedical consultant, not a physician. Nothing here is medical advice, and using EviGeno does not create a doctor and patient relationship.
Your doctor decides
Show what you read here to the patient's treating doctors. Decisions about care stay with the patient and those doctors.
About the reports
- A report reflects the sources available on the day it was prepared. Trials open, close and change.
- A report can be incomplete or wrong. Sometimes the honest answer is that nothing better exists.
- EviGeno promises care in the search. It does not promise a result.
Your account and the people on a case
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
- The owner of a case decides who else is on it and at what level. Collaborators and viewers can read the case. Only owners manage people.
- You are responsible for who you add. Add only people the patient is happy to share with.
What you share
By sending records you confirm that you have the right to share them, and that the patient knows and agrees. EviGeno uses them only to prepare and keep up the case, as set out in the privacy page.
Acceptable use
- Do not use EviGeno to harm anyone or to look at a case you are not part of.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the service.
- Do not copy reports out to sell or publish them.
Plans and payment
Plans are agreed with EviGeno directly. Nothing is charged before you have agreed to it in writing. Prices, availability and timing are indicative until confirmed in writing.
Limits
EviGeno is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, EviGeno is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of reference material, and its responsibility for any loss is limited to what you paid for the plan in question.
Stopping
You can stop at any time and ask for your information to be deleted. EviGeno may suspend an account that is misused.
